1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding legal agreement between you ("you", "user") and AI Code Toolkit ("we", "us", "our") governing your access to and use of the website aicodetoolkit.com and related properties (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA/UK) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Description of Service

The Service provides:

• A reference library of tested Claude Code slash commands, subagents, hooks, MCP integration guides, and CLAUDE.md templates.
• Long-form written guides, blog posts, comparisons, and cost analyses.
• Free interactive tools (command generator, hook builder, cost calculator, etc.).
• A newsletter, Discord community, and (in the future) a paid CLI product called Toolkit CLI (cctk).

We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

4. Content License

4.1 Our Content

Code snippets published on the Service — including slash commands, hook JSON, subagent YAML, MCP configs, and CLAUDE.md examples — are licensed to you under the MIT License, unless a specific page states otherwise. You may copy, modify, distribute, and use them in commercial and non-commercial projects. We appreciate attribution but do not require it for code snippets.

Written content — articles, guides, blog posts, comparisons — is © AI Code Toolkit, all rights reserved. You may quote reasonable excerpts (typically under 15 words per source) with attribution and a link back to the original page. You may not republish full articles without written permission.

Trademarks, logos, and brand assets — the AI Code Toolkit name, logo, and design are proprietary. You may not use them without written permission except for factual, non-endorsing reference (e.g., mentioning us in a news article).

4.2 Your Submissions

If you submit content to the Service (community commands, GitHub PRs, comments, contact-form messages), you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service.

You represent that you own or have the right to submit any content you provide, and that it does not infringe any third party's rights.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect content in ways that overload our infrastructure or violate reasonable-use expectations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its servers, or user accounts.
• Interfere with the operation of the Service (DDoS, injection attacks, malware).
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation.
• Submit content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or infringes intellectual property rights.
• Use automated systems to send excessive requests (rate limits apply).
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to derive the source of any paid product (once available).

Reasonable, respectful automated access — such as web scraping subject to robots.txt and at humane rates for legitimate research, indexing, or archival — is allowed.

6. Accounts & Subscriptions

Some features (newsletter, Discord, future Toolkit CLI license) require you to provide contact information or create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any credentials and for all activity under your account.

Once launched, the Toolkit CLI (cctk) will be governed by additional terms specific to that product, which will be presented at time of purchase.

7. Third-Party Links

The Service contains links to third-party websites and services, some of which are affiliate links (see Affiliate Disclosure). We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Access them at your own risk and subject to their own terms.

8. Disclaimers

The Service and all content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy.

While we test every code snippet before publishing and refresh content on a rolling 90-day cycle, we do not warrant that:

• All code will work in every environment or with every future Anthropic release.
• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
• Any specific results will be achieved from using the content.

You are solely responsible for evaluating any code before using it in production and for compliance with any licenses of the third-party dependencies it references.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Code Toolkit and its owners, employees, and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business interruption, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) US$100 or (b) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AI Code Toolkit and its owners, employees, and contributors from any claim, damage, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy.

11. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any part of it at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

We may also update these Terms. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notifying users. Continued use after changes means acceptance.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., Content License, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Governing Law) will survive.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan.

Nothing in this section limits your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer under your local law.

14. Miscellaneous

• Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any product-specific terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
• Severability. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
• No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right.
• Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them freely.
• Headings. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
