Our Mission
We're building the reference library and toolkit developers actually bookmark for Claude Code — and, over time, for every serious AI coding tool. Not another tutorial blog. Not thin listicles regurgitating docs. Real, tested, production-ready configurations for the way developers actually work.
If you use Claude Code daily and you've ever searched "claude code hook to prevent git push to main" and gotten five outdated Reddit threads instead of a working config — this site is for you. That gap is the whole reason we exist.
What We Build
AI Code Toolkit is a five-pillar reference library plus a companion CLI (coming later):
- 195 slash commands across 15 developer workflow categories — testing, refactoring, code review, deployment, debugging, security, performance, and more.
- 113 subagent configs for framework specialists, DevOps, database, AI/ML, security, and business-logic work.
- 52 hook templates covering approval gates, cost tracking, formatters, Slack/Discord notifications, secrets scanners, and session lifecycle.
- 108 MCP integration guides connecting Claude Code to databases, APIs, cloud providers, communication tools, dev tooling, and more.
- 52 CLAUDE.md templates for battle-tested project setup across Next.js, Django, FastAPI, Rails, React Native, monorepos, and more stacks.
Plus 30 long-form pillar guides, 60 blog posts, 40 comparison pages, 20 cost analyses, and 15 free interactive tools. Everything free. Everything tested. Everything refreshed within 48 hours of every Anthropic release.
A paid CLI (cctk) that installs everything with one command is on the roadmap. Join the waitlist to be notified when it ships.
How We Got Here
AI Code Toolkit was founded in 2026 by a small team based in Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan, with previous portfolio experience across developer-focused reference sites and content-marketing SaaS. Our sister site, AI Error Hub, already helps thousands of developers debug AI API errors each month. AI Code Toolkit takes the same editorial discipline — test every snippet, refresh every page, cross-link everything — and applies it upstream of the error: to the moment you're building, not the moment you're debugging.
We're independent, self-funded, and answerable only to the readers who trust us. No venture capital pressure to inflate metrics. No advertiser telling us what to write.
The Team
A distributed team of ten people across editorial, engineering, research, and community. Byline authors on individual pages rotate between senior editors; every published page is technically reviewed by a working developer before it goes live.
Ahmed R.
Byline author on odd-numbered snippet pages. Backend and DevOps focus. 8+ years shipping production Python, Go, and Node.
Sana K.
Byline author on even-numbered snippet pages. Frontend and AI-integration focus. Formerly at a Series B SaaS.
Editorial & Engineering
Three developers, two technical researchers, an editor, an SEO lead, two video producers, and a designer — all focused on Claude Code and the wider AI coding ecosystem.
Where We Work
AI Code Toolkit is operated from Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan — a growing tech hub adjacent to Islamabad. Our team collaborates asynchronously and serves an audience across 90+ countries. English is our primary editorial language; we may add localized versions of key guides in future quarters.
Our Values
Accuracy over speed
Every code sample is tested before publishing. When we're wrong we correct fast and note the change.
Developer-first
We write for the developer sitting in front of the terminal, not for search engines or social feeds.
Freshness
Anthropic ships fast. We update within 48 hours of every meaningful release and revisit all pages every 90 days.
Honesty
We recommend against Claude Code when a competitor is genuinely better for a specific use case. Trust compounds.
Free forever
The full reference library stays free. The CLI is a time-saving shortcut, not a paywall on knowledge.
Community
Developers submit better commands than any editorial team can produce alone. Our marketplace launches in Q4 2026.
Editorial Standards
We hold ourselves to a strict editorial process:
- Testing gate. No code snippet ships without being run by a working developer against a real project.
- Freshness cadence. The full 520-page library is refreshed on a rolling 90-day cycle. Anthropic-release-triggered updates ship within 48 hours.
- Correction transparency. Material corrections are noted at the bottom of the affected page with date and summary.
- AI disclosure. Where AI assistance is used in drafting, the byline still identifies a human editor who reviewed and takes responsibility.
- Community submissions. Reviewed under the same standards. Contributors get bylines.

The Business Model, Briefly
We're an independent, self-funded publisher. Revenue comes from a mix of: affiliate partnerships (disclosed — see Affiliate Disclosure), display advertising (privacy-respecting networks only), the upcoming Toolkit CLI product, enterprise licensing, and consulting inbound. We do not take undisclosed sponsorships, we do not run advertorials disguised as editorial, and we do not sell user data.
