1. Our Commitment to Copyright
AI Code Toolkit respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Service to do the same. It is our policy to respond expeditiously to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512, and equivalent laws in other jurisdictions.
If you believe that content on aicodetoolkit.com infringes your copyright, please send a written notice ("Takedown Notice") to our Designated Agent at the address in Section 7.
2. How to File a Takedown Notice
Send a Takedown Notice by email or postal mail. Email is faster. To ensure timely processing, please include all of the information required in Section 3.
Notices that are incomplete or that appear to be bulk/automated without a good-faith review of the specific content may be rejected or delayed. We may share a redacted version of your Notice with the alleged infringer.
3. Required Information
Per 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), a valid Takedown Notice must include the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the specific copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple works on our site are covered by a single notice, a representative list).
- Identification of the specific material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail to permit us to locate it — typically a direct URL like
https://aicodetoolkit.com/commands/testing/test-unit/. - Your contact information: full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right allegedly infringed.
4. Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a Counter-Notification with our Designated Agent. A valid Counter-Notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the U.S., of any district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original Takedown Notice or their agent.
Upon receipt of a valid Counter-Notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. Unless we receive notice within 10-14 business days that a lawsuit has been filed, we may restore the material.
5. Repeat Infringers
It is our policy, in appropriate circumstances, to disable and/or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. Multiple valid Takedown Notices against the same user may result in permanent removal of their access to the Service, including community submissions and future account privileges.
6. Bad-Faith Notices
We take bad-faith DMCA notices seriously. Notices filed to suppress lawful criticism, competitive commentary, journalism, or clearly fair-use content may be publicly disclosed and referred to legal counsel. If you receive a notice you believe was filed in bad faith, contact us at legal@aicodetoolkit.com.
